Chapter 2- The name of this chapter is "Bicycle". I believe this is the name of the chapter because Ruth rides he bike a lot through the black neighborhoods. I think she rode her bike so much because she was trying to clear her head after her second husband died.
Chpt.3- the name of this chapter, is Kosher. This title led me to believe this chapter had to do something with Jewish people. turns out my thought was right and the chapter has to do with Ruth's parents that were polish Jews. Ruth's parents also had an arranged marriage.
Chpt. 4- Black power, this chapter is about James realizing that he is adopted. Beings how he is black and his mother was white with a different background then he had. I feel like being a black kid with a white mom back in that time would be very rough on a kid.
Chpt. 5- The old Testament, this chapter is similar to chapter 3, kosher, in the ways that it talks about Ruth and her poor Jewish family as well as her father continuing to try and make a life for his family by being a rabbi but he fails over and over.

Great Gatsby Cover
it appears to have the face of a flapper in the background
as well as the city, maybe new York
maybe some fireworks.
Flapper face- appears to be the face of the flapper that is probably important in the book
The City- Possibly New York, probably a popular important city in the book to the author
Fireworks?- possibly fireworks near the city, to show some sort of celebration
the paradox from the book i see is the quiet calm city and then the loud bright fireworks they seem to be opposites.
how does the title relate to the book itself?
A: flapper and city are probably important.

I like the talk about how much she is going through with things like the divorce.
I can tell how that defiantly could be affecting some things.
divorce is a big part of a kids life, it not only affects the parents it highly affects the children as well, so through the divorce it is extremely hard on the kid and confusing to why their mom and dad arent together anymore.

I HEAR
I hear the future
The past is in my rear view mirrors
I'm going 100 miles per hour leaving it in the dust
I see the future like a big rock in the middle of the road

Summary response
Excessive force by security guards is a very controversial concept, some say security guards are a good thing, and some say they act like they have more authority than they really do. Security guards are a good thing for sure, because they can protect the property they are payed to protect. The problem with some security guards is that they do these things in an illegal way. Unlike police officers, security guards are not allowed to ever make an arrest. Most security guards are only allowed to see, report and call the police if a crime occurs in their presence. However, when a security guard or security officer needs to take someone to an actual law officer, needs to do it within their restrictions. The law varies from security guard to security guard but generally does not allows them to make an arrest and use force in doing so. One common definition of reasonable force is simply not to be excessive, under the circumstances. This means to consider the seriousness of the crime, the risk of harm for everyone, and the immediacy of the situation. In any situation more than a minor offence to the property being protected by the security guard should be reported to a legal law officer.
Security guards are a good thing for certain reasons, such as escorting a “hoodlum” off the property. But, many security guards illegally use force to enforce their laws. This is such a controversial subject because this sort of thing escalates to law officers as well.
